SMS Class of 2014 Where Are They Now?

Mason Wagner earned a marketing degree from Texas Tech in 2022. He works for Sherwin-Williams in Dallas. 

Celeste Carson graduated from Texas Tech University in August 2022 with a BBA in Management. She is now in Austin pursuing a career in sales and fashion where she works as a Styling Consultant.  

Chance Lange graduated from Texas State Technical College in Waco with a certification in diesel mechanics. He worked for Crenwelge Motors and then decided to get back into the construction field. He works for 3D Construction and Remodeling. In his free time he enjoys playing golf and takes trips to the lake with his girlfriend and 2 dogs. His special memory from SMS is “just hanging out with the guys and playing sports.”  

Dominick Petsch graduated from Texas State Technical College in 2020 with an associates in heavy diesel repair. He works for Edmund Jenschke Inc., a conservation construction company in Kerrville as a Heavy Diesel Field Technician. He married Kalyn Stephens July 23, 2022 and they live in Kerrville. In their free time they like to fish, hunt, and travel. 

Sache Perrin graduated from Texas State with a degree in business marketing. She lives in the Heights in Houston and is a sales associate and does social media marketing at a wine tasting venue at Rice Village. She has traveled to Valencia, Spain many times to learn about Spanish wines, beers, and spirits.

Kathryn Rodriguez earned a degree from Texas A&M in May 2022. She lives in Austin and works in tech sales which takes her on frequent trips to Washington DC. She enjoys traveling, baking Sourdough, and reading.

Hayli Wells lives in Coppell and works for a large company called Fry Construction. She has a previous son named Rocco. 

Mary Grace Romanick graduated from Baylor University and lives in Waco.

Grace Allen graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2022 and has worked in a variety of industries including editorial, travel, and fashion. She currently lives and works in Austin with fellow SMS graduate Kathryn Rodriguez.

Melissa Ruano is currently studying in California.

Trevor Kozielski attended Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi. He works for Affordable Movers of the Hill Country, Ltd. 

Nick Pena graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in psychology. While in college he acquired his real estate license and works for Aggieland Properties. Nick said, “I feel blessed and very grateful for St. Mary’s and the role that the teachers, especially Coach Loth and Mr. Dubs, had in shaping the person I am today.”

James Westfall graduated from TCU in May 2022, and is the director of marketing at Two Dove Outdoors.

Riggs Threadgill played college baseball at LSU and McLennon. He committed to Auburn and then was drafted by the MiLB Washington Nationals. He is currently providing private baseball lessons and will complete his education in the fall. 

Vanessa Viveros lives in San Antonio and continues with her studies.

Julia Maenius graduated from UTSA in 2022 with a degree in English Creative Writing and a minor in Communication. She graduated with a master’s in Sport Management and Policy in May 2024 from University of Georgia. She lives in Athens, Georgia and works at the University of Georgia Athletic Association as an Assistant Director of Sports Communication.

David Wilkinson graduated from Texas A&M and is now studying at St. Mary’s University School of Law.

Ryann Brodnax graduated from TCU in May 2022 with a degree in public relations and advertising. She is a corporate event planner in Dallas and plans incentive trips, meetings, and conferences domestically and internationally. In May she operated a program in Marbella, Spain.

Harrison Spisak is Texas A&M Class of 2022 with a degree in Computer Engineering and a minor in Math and Cyber Security.  He lives in Dallas and works for Edgile. He enjoys bouldering and playing DnD with friends.

Abbey Eckhardt graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2022 with a degree in Advertising and a minor in Business. She lives in Austin and works at a public engagement firm CD&P as a Junior Graphic Designer. 

Sean Majors graduated Cum Laude from Trinity University with a BS in Environmental Science. He was a student athlete at Trinity and continued to compete in track & field while earning his master’s in Environmental Science at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Sean won the Southland Conference Championship in the long jump, setting  a school record of 25’ 8.75” and he was a 6X qualifier for Nationals. 

TJ Tomlinson played baseball at Odessa Junior College. He is completing a degree in Marketing and is on the baseball team at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth. 

Johnny Wilkinson is a Commercial Service HVAC technician with Airco Mechanical in San Antonio. 

After graduating from FHS Chris Calzada spent two years working, and is now finishing his degree at Sam Houston State University. On the weekends he helps his mom Laura on her cattle ranch.

Jordan Rhoades served in the US Army 4 years after graduating from FHS. He now lives in San Antonio and is a mechanic at Hollywood Park Automotive and works at Quartermaster and Chemical Equipment Repairer at the US Army. 

Jacob Wienecke graduated from Colorado School of Mines in December 2022. He works for NXP in Austin as a microcontroller systems engineer.

Tyler Maurer graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University in May 2023 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a project manager for Halliburton in Duncan, OK. 

Blake Castro is a local entrepreneur. He does car detailing and professional residential and commercial window cleaning. 

Bobby Johnson earned a BS in Construction Science at Texas A&M in December 2022. He completed 2 internships with Embrey. He earned a master’s in Property and Land Development from TX A&M in May 2024.

Hayden Schandua graduated from TCU and is in his third year of medical school at UT Houston McGovern. He expects to graduate as MD in May 2026.

Jose Viveros completed his education at Texas A&M. He married Erica Schlaegel in May 2023. They live in Dallas where he works as a graphics engineer.

Connor Kennedy was in the first graduating class of the Schreiner University Aviation Program. He was the first in the program to get his pilot license and will be their first student flight instructor. 

Corbin Smajstrla graduated from TX A&M with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. He is employed at NFI Industries in Dallas. 

Bryce Erwin has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from TX A&M. He works for Rampart Multifamily in Hutto. He is engaged to Madison Bourgeois. 

Daylon Nebgen was a two sport athlete at Mary Hardin Baylor, competing in football and baseball. He earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering and works for MEP Engineering in Austin. He and Marcella celebrated one year of marriage in April. They live in Kyle.
