Children are God’s greatest gift to this world. I believe they are to be guided, encouraged, protected, treasured, and most importantly loved for who they are. Teaching at St. Mary’s allows me to touch so many young lives and in turn I learn and grow from them. It is a win-win situation.
I am the Assistant Principal as well as Jr. High Religion, Reading, and English teacher. Every year my 8th graders choose a service project. This is an incredible learning opportunity and a way for them to give back to their community.
I received my B.S. from Texas A&M University in 1979. I also completed a Masters of Education from Texas Tech University. I have been married to my husband Tim for 32 years and we have three children. We also have two amazing grandsons.
St. Mary’s is not just a school but a family. I am very lucky that God has allowed me to be a part of such a wonderful school.
