I was born and raised in New York City. I spent 12 years in Catholic school before attaining an MBA in Finance from NYU. I went to work for Merrill Lynch and some other high profile firms until eventually starting and becoming the CEO of a broker dealer. I worked on Wall Street for 18 years before deciding to relocate to Texas after the events of 911. Having a life- long passion for the outdoors and hunting, I had been coming to Texas for many years. I knew one day I would move to Texas. After owning several ranches over a 20 year period, most of which were within 2-3 hours of San Antonio, Susan and I came to Fredericksburg for a weekend B&B three years ago. We visited St. Mary’s church and instantly felt an incredible connection with the church and the town. We decided right then and there we would move to Fredericksburg. Within 5 months, we sold the ranch in Pearsall and bought our current ranch in Cherry Spring. I am the owner of DropTine Ranch. In less than 3 years, I completely renovated the property and have launched a successful B&B, Deer Breeding and Hunting business. We have 3 children. Two are graduates of SMS and one is attending St. Mary’s school. I have been actively involved with the St. Mary’s community since we came here donating hunts to the two of the Mardi Gras fundraisers, an ACTS member and actively contribute to the church and school. I believe my background in Finance and in successfully starting and running several businesses will be an asset to the council and look forward to helping the school set a course to meet its goals in the coming years.
